Sun Health Foods (SHF) are primarily a manufacturer of compressed bar products. Sun Health Foods Pty Ltd was established in 1980 producing a range of health bars.

The core products were and still are a range of nut & honey bars. These were produced from the Powlett St. factory for many years. In late 2010 SHF moved its manufacturing to a new site in Moorabbin, a suburb located approx. 16.5kms south east of Melbourne. Two production lines were relocated to the current site at 3-5 Freighter Road, which was designed and built specifically for the purpose of producing Health, Diet, Sport/Protein, Functional and Nutritional snack bars. SHF have full SQF, HACCP, Woolworths Accreditation, Costco Supplier Approval and Organic certification.

We produce gluten free products and have a nut free option line. We currently produce a number of Private label, Proprietary label and Sun Health Food branded products, many of which are ranked in the top 10 nationally of their respective categories. The types of bars produced at SHF include: Nut bars, Health bars, Fruit bars, Cereal bars, Protein bars, Confectionery bars, Fruit & Nut slices, Kids bars, Nougat rolls, Layered bars and Enrobed bars.
